Dear patients, friends and family of Casa Dental. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is in everyone’s mind these days as a serious and very dangerous viral disease. Educating ourselves about the virus, how to prevent it, its symptoms, and what to do once we have symptoms is paramount. This is great link from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html.
Fear, concern and panic are taking over the population in general. We totally understand these feelings and want you to know that your health is our most important goal. We want you to know we strictly follow the CDC’s recommendations in order to make our office a safe place for you and your family.
These are some of the actions we are taking at this point.
1-We ask staff members to stay at home if they show symptoms of any respiratory infection.
2-All Casa Dental employees are reminded to wash their hands before and after any contact with clients and frequently throughout the day.
3-All staff in direct contact with clients, like dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant, will wear protective masks, gloves and eye protection, as they always have, to prevent exposure.
4- Casa Dental staff members will not be able to hug or shake hands with clients for now.
5-The office will be disinfected every morning prior to 8 am, and throughout the day. This includes tables, counters, chairs, keyboards and other surfaces, door knobs, bathroom, etc.
6-All dental equipment inside the treatment rooms will be disinfected between patients
7-Tissues, paper towels and no-touch trash containers will be provided, as well as disposable cups.
8-We ask all our patients who are coughing or think they might be coughing to wear a mask while at the office, even if they are asymptomatic.
9-We instruct all our patients and accompanying family members to stay home if they exhibit any signs or symptoms of any respiratory infection. Their appointments will be rescheduled when they are no longer sick.
10-We ask all clients who have been abroad or in the company of infected individuals not to come to our office. We will be happy to schedule their appointments, once they have followed the recommended quarantine time of 15 days or more without symptoms.
We really want everyone to be healthy and happy. Please observe the CDC recommendations and avoid crowds. Remember you can order many of your needed items online. Sleep at least 7 hours, try to eat as healthy as possible and avoid sugary drinks. This will strengthen our immune system. Enjoy this precious time with your loved ones; and don’t forget to brush after every meal and before bed.
We are extremely grateful for everyone of you. We pray God each day to guard you and keep you from harm. Seeing you and yours at our office is a gift we really appreciate.
